Company History

NexxtDrive Ltd was formed to develop the patented concepts described in other segments of this website. It was set up with funds from TriVest VCT plc, a Venture Capital Trust, and various Guernsey unit trusts and Enterprise Investment schemes, now advised by Nova Capital Management Ltd. 

The concept of applying the technology to a Supercharger was conceived in conjunction with Integral Powertrain Ltd (http://www.integralpowertrain.co.uk/), and given the name SuperGen.  Due to its strong potential for reducing CO2 emissions a collaboration  was established with Integral Powertrain to take the project forward.

Lately considerable proprietary developments have been made to the automotive transmission concept. The company has partnered with IAV Gmbh,  ( http://www.iav.de/ ), a leading global automotive engineering development company to develop the DualDrive prototype.

It has a widening circle of related inventions with highly commercial potential in vehicles and products of all types. 

In March 2005 Rod Keech joined as Executive Chairman.  The company is in active discussion with potential licencees for all aspects of its technology portfolio. Further equity funds have and are being raised to accelerate the pace of its developments.
