Existing wind turbine generators suffer from a number of severe transmission problems that can be solved by use of our NexxtPower wind turbine transmission solution.

Principal among the problems addressed by NexxtPower are:

• Variable turbine speed operation without the use of expensive power electronics (Inverters and/or converters)
• Torsional loading, and subsequent failure of the transmission system due to sudden changes in wind speed
• Initial spooling up of the wind turbines in low wind conditions
