Background

NexxtDrive was formed to exploit a range of innovative , power-combining ("hybrid") transmission technologies with a wide range of vehicle and industrial applications. These applications include passenger cars and all othe types of on and off-road vehicles, marine transmissions, electric bicycles, conveyor systems, wire line winches, wind turbines. They are likely to be beneficial in any application requiring precise and variable control of a transmission system.

NexxtDrive now has more than 80 patents or patent applications protecting its technology in transmissions, e machines, and control systems. These allow it to offer tailor-made solutions and licensing packages to suit both OEM's and Tier1 suppliers.

Originally funded by a number of Guernsey registered funds and The Income & Growth VCT plc (formerly TriVest VCT plc) NexxtDrive enjoys strong investor support as a result of the strong and growing commercial potential of its power combining technology.
