    differing environments
  • Compatible for chain, belt or shaft drive systems
  • System can be packaged totally within a bike frame
for security, protection, optimized NVH etc.

Automotive

SuperGen

In September 2014 NexxtDrive Ltd granted an exclusive
exploitation license for SuperGen to a Magna International
joint venture company -Integral PowerTrain Technology Ltd
(IPTT).

Magna International is the world’s 4th largest automotive
components supply company.

SuperGen is a variable-speed electro mechanically driven
and controlled supercharger.

The key to the SuperGen concept lies in the patented
combination of an epicyclic traction transmission and electric
ratio control, used to vary the speed of the compressor.

Its USP is to enable significant engine downsizing, down-
speeding and emissions reductions.

iBelt – hybrid belt drive

iBelt is an intelligent belt drive system for the Front End
Accessory Drive (FEAD) system for passenger car applications.

iFan is its heavy duty variant for heavier truck, off-road, mining
and military applications – also providing fan reversing capability.

iBelt and iFan allow the FEAD to be run at variable
speed, independent from engine speed, thereby improving fuel
consumption and reducing vehicle emissions.

It is a hybrid technology that can also provide stop/start and
regeneration capability.
